The Indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only and that person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty or otherwise pleads guilty.
Jason Sadler, 24, 65 Burnette Road, Somerset, and Megan Daws, 22, 521 Westgate Drive, Somerset, on or about July 22, 2008, in Pulaski County Sadler and Daws committed the offense of criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing a forged check in the amount of $100 drawn on Cumberland Security Bank of Somerset; on or about July 18, Sadler committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking by taking property belonging to Danny Kuhnapfel of a value over $300; and on or about July 20, 2008, committed the offense of criminal possession of forged instrument, second degree, by possessing a forged check in the amount of $85 drawn on Cumberland Security Bank.
Samuel S. Jenkins, 21, 135 Jenkins St., Monticello, on or about May 12, 2008, in Pulaski County committed the offenses of manslaughter, second degree, by wantonly causing the death of Tanya K. Clark; assault, first degree, by operating his vehicle in such a manner that caused serious physical injury upon Dorothy Foley, Paula F. Weddle and Tonya New; wanton endangerment, first degree, by engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury upon Murrell Denney, Reda Denney and a minor and under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life; and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense.
