Woman in serious condition after wreck

Local News

A Pulaski County woman was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center and another person was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital earlier this week after a two-vehicle accident occurred north of Somerset.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, Noel Davis, 59, of Old Norwood Road, Science Hill, was operating a 2007 Ford truck northbound on U.S. 27 in Eubank at approximately 6 p.m. when he reportedly turned into the path of a southbound 2007 Nissan operated by Nina Dishon, 42, of Singelton Waynesburg Road, Eubank.

A passenger in the Davis vehicle, Bobby Meece, 37, of Shake Rag Road, Waynesburg was treated at the scene and transported to LCRH by Somerset Fire/EMS.

Dishon was airlifted to the UK Medical Center by Air Methods. A UK spokesperson said Dishon was listed in serious condition on Friday afternoon.
