A Nancy man was arrested on numerous charges following a one-vehicle accident Thursday.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, units responded to a one-vehicle accident approximately nine miles west of Somerset on Roberts Port Road.
Upon investigation, Deputy Steve Molen found the driver had been operating a 1998 Suzuki Sidekick on Roberts Port Road when he lost control. Molen determined that the driver, Jessie M. Delay, 29, 234 Willow Oaks Drive, Nancy, was under the influence. He also found that the Suzuki had been reported stolen to the Kentucky State Police from the Wayne County section of Piney Woods Road.
After Delay was treated and released at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, he was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence alcohol/drugs/etc. .08 (aggravating circumstance), third offense; failure to wear a seatbelt; failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, first offense; operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license and receiving stolen property over $300 (auto).
Delay was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
