A London man was arrested Saturday night in connection with a theft of a firearm.
Arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking (firearm) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon was Justin A. Handshoe, 23, Barbourville, Road, London.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, the department responded to a call at 1757 Lakeshore Drive, regarding the theft.
The investigation then revealed the victim had a 38 caliber stolen overnight and then uncovered the fact a suspect had been in the victim’s residence during the night of the theft.
Later the suspect, Handshoe, was interviewed by Deputy Scott West and turned the firearm over him, at which time a check revealed he had a prior felony conviction in Laurel County.
