A Pulaski County man was arrested Thursday in connection with a burglary that took place earlier in the week in Science Hill.
According to a press release from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, Bryan A. Jones, 25, of 1939 Ocala Road, Somerset, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking over $300.
An investigation undertaken by the sheriff’s department revealed that Jones reportedly stole three motorcycles from a Science Hill residence on Sunday, July 6. After Jones was interviewed by Sergeant Troy McLin, one of the motorcycles was returned, but Jones allegedly failed to return the remaining motorcycles and an arrest warrant was obtained.
Jones was apprehended Thursday by Deputy David Wesley and Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement Officer Duffy Sutton in Rockcastle County.
Jones was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash or property bond.
