GOP Officers Elected

The Republican Party of Kentucky recently began its Re-Organization and Convention Process which occurs once every four years. Precinct officers were elected statewide on March 8 in elections held at the local polling places. Precinct officers elected included the Precinct Captain, Co-Captain and Youth Captain. The convention process continued on March 15, when the county officers were elected by the precinct officers in meetings typically held at the county courthouse. The Pulaski County GOP Precinct Officers elected Cloyd J. Bumgardner as County Chairman, Helen Hansford as Vice-Chairman, John Johnson as Youth Chairman, Brenda Ham as Treasurer and Carol Cox as Secretary. These officers will serve until the next state Re-Organization and Convention Process. The 2008 state GOP Convention will be held on June 7 in Bowling Green, Ky.
