Three individuals have been arrested by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department for making the drug methamphetamine.
Robert L. Colyer, 31, 644 McKee Circle, Somerset, Shannon G. Colyer, 26, 712 Murphy Avenue, Ferguson, and Chelsea R. Holder, 53, 590 P.L. Colyer Road, Somerset, were all arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a police radio.
Roger Colyer was also charged with tampering with physical evidence.
According to the sheriff’s department, early Friday morning, deputies acted on tips that a meth lab was in operation at a barn off Omega Park Road in southeastern Pulaski County. That investigation led them to P.L. Colyer Road, where they located three suspects inside making the stimulant, one of whom tried to destroy parts of the lab once realizing that law enforcement had arrived.
Deputies also found two small children with the adults while the meth production was going on. The children were released to family members are were not injured.
The Somerset Fire Investigation Team assisted at the scene in the clean-up of the lab.
All three of the suspects were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by the Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division.
