Approximately 40 boats — many of them with several people aboard — were entered in Saturday’s First Annual Cumberland Thunder Run race, which began and ended at Lee’s Ford Marina. The race featured stops at State Dock, Conley Bottom, Burnside Marina and Clifty Creek before ending at Lee’s Ford in which participants collected playing cards in hopes of receiving a winning poker hand.
