Lake Cumberland early Wednesday was less than two feet above target level of 680 feet and falling more than a foot a day. All six generators have been operating and sluice gates open at Wolf Creek Dam since runoff from flooding rains in the Cumberland River Basin two weeks ago raised the lake approximately 17 feet.
