Will Hinton, 17, one of two Somerset High School football players seriously injured in a car crash in Somerset on Thursday, Oct. 4, was able to join his teammates on the sideline Friday during the Briar Jumpers’ home game against Lexington Christian Academy. Jacobi Gilmore, 16, remains at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center but Somerset coach Robbie Lucas said they’re hopeful he’ll be home within a few days.
