FEMA has opened a Disaster Recovery Center at Hal Rogers Fire Training Center on Oak Leaf Lane in Somerset to assist victims of the early May storm that left parts of Pulaski County flooded. Thanks to the Mobile Disaster Recovery Center shown here, the relief center is directly uplinked via satellite to a secure federal government computer network used to process claims. Federal officials show at the recovery center are, from left, Gary Colton, SBA public information officer; Carol Evans, FEMA customer service representative; Ron Stillwagon, FEMA disaster specialist; and Debbie Simon, FEMA public information officer.
