Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Norfleet of Nancy, Ky., celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on the 15th day of February 2010 at a special family gathering with their children and grandchildren.
Lawrence is 69 years old and Phyllis is 63 years old.
Lawrence Norfleet and Phyllis Tarter were married on the 15th day of February 1975 in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Lawrence A. Norfleet is a semi-retired homebuilder and car dealer.
Phyllis A. Norfleet is a retired high school educator from the Pulaski County School System.
Lawrence and Phyllis have three children together: James C. (and wife, Kim) Norfleet of Somerset; Kristi A. (and husband Adam) Jones of Nancy; and Robert E. (and wife, Afton) Norfleet of Nancy.
Lawrence has three children residing in Kokomo, Ind.: Glenda Norfleet (and husband Brad), Jesse C. (and wife Jenny) Norfleet and Lawrence A. (and wife Stephanie) Norfleet Jr.
Lawrence and Phyllis have seven grandchildren as a result of their marriage: Curry Norfleet, Bailey Norfleet, Brandon Norfleet and Brady Norfleet; Amberly Jones; and Lacinda Norfleet and Ethan Norfleet. Lawrence and Phyllis are also expecting the birth of another grandchild in May of this year.
Lawrence also has six grandchildren residing in Kokomo, Ind.: Jessica Norfleet, Joshua Norfleet, Jaden Norfleet, Tristen Norfleet, Sophie Norfleet and Alisa Norfleet.
Lawrence and Phyllis enjoy NASCAR, traveling, house work and being around the family.

Leonard states: “It was strange that it took so long for people to get together in those times. We lived just 6 miles apart but never knew each other for several years. I met Elva on a Sunday night at Fellowship Methodist Church where we still belong and attend when we are able.” -
