David and Jeanne Hall will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 25, 2010.

They were married at Camp Ground Baptist Church, Somerset, in 1960 with the Rev. James E. Clark officiating.

The Halls were in the car business for many years, with Dave as salesman and Jeanne as secretary.

David and Jeanne had two children, Brian (deceased) and Ben (and Robin).

The couple has long resided on Wilson Road in the Pleasant Hill community.

Leonard Wilson Sears was born on February 1, 1915.
Elva Bales Sears came along on May 4, 1918.
Leonard states: “It was strange that it took so long for people to get together in those times. We lived just 6 miles apart but never knew each other for several years. I met Elva on a Sunday night at Fellowship Methodist Church where we still belong and attend when we are able.”
