The family of Charles and Iva Stogsdill invites all friends and family to their 50th Wedding Anniversary Open House Reception at Somerset’s First Church of the Nazarene’s Fellowship Hall, located at 120 Crawford Avenue.
The reception will be from 3 until 5 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012.
Mr. Stogsdill is retired from Tecumseh and currently works at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Stogsdill is a retired department manager from Walmart.
Charles William Stogsdill is the son of the late Willie C. and Ruth Raney Stogsdill.
Iva Jolene Cline is the daughter of the late Ed and Anna Lee Hodge Cline.
They were married on March 16, 1962, in Science Hill, Ky., by the Rev. Ernest Farris, a great-uncle to Iva.

Elva Bales Sears came along on May 4, 1918.
Leonard states: “It was strange that it took so long for people to get together in those times. We lived just 6 miles apart but never knew each other for several years. I met Elva on a Sunday night at Fellowship Methodist Church where we still belong and attend when we are able.” -
