Dean and Carolyn Stewart of Hillandale Drive, Somerset, will be honored by their family at an open house recognizing their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, December 4, 2011, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Main Street, Somerset.
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart were married in Dayton, Ohio, December 2, 1961. They moved to Kentucky in 1969.
Dean is an attorney and Carolyn is a retired school teacher.
The couple are long-time members of First Baptist Church.
They have two children: Jon (and Melissa) Stewart of Lexington, Kentucky, and Julie (and Douglas) Dick of Somerset.
The couple also has four grandchildren: Jon Hunter Stewart, Carol Anne Stewart, Tayler Marie Dick and Kathryn Elizabeth Dick.
Family and friends are encouraged to attend the open house to share in this celebration ... but no gifts please.
