The Durhams celebrate 50th anniversary

Somerset — Carroll and Marlyn Cooper Durham recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

They were married April 1, 1961, by the Rev. E.R. Prather.

Carole Vazquez and Geri Durham hosted a celebration party at the Ferguson Fire Department’s community room.

Family and a few close friends attended.

The couple has two children: Carole Vazquez of Louisville and John (and Geri) Durham of Ferguson.

They are the grandparents of six grandchildren: Miranda (and Kenny) Lyons, Lance Arthur, Lauren Arthur, Konner, Kennedie and Kolton Durham; and a great-grandson, Sebastian Lyons.
