Paul and Mona Mitchell will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary August 28, 2009.

They were married at Lynmore Methodist Church in Macon, Ga., which Paul’s grandfather was the minister who help start this church.

They have two sons, Gerry Bryant Mitchell of Wayton, Ohio, and L. Paul Mitchell of Mason, Ohio.

They also have four grandchildren: Michelle Sprouse Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nicholas Mitchell of Columbus, Ohio, Mathew Perkins and Brittney Mitchell of Dayton, Ohio.

Paul and Mona retired at Woodson Bend Resort in Bronston and are members of First Christian Church in Somerset.

God has richly blessed this family.

Leonard Wilson Sears was born on February 1, 1915.
Elva Bales Sears came along on May 4, 1918.
Leonard states: “It was strange that it took so long for people to get together in those times. We lived just 6 miles apart but never knew each other for several years. I met Elva on a Sunday night at Fellowship Methodist Church where we still belong and attend when we are able.”
