The Vaughts to celebrate 60th anniversary

Somerset — The Neighborhood of Somerset Assisted Living Community would like to invite family and friends to join Jim and Vivian Vaught for a reception celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary December 12, 2010, at The Neighborhood, 100 Neighborly Way, from 2 until 4 p.m.

Vivian is the former Vivian Merritt, daughter of the late Carl and Martha McDonald Merritt.

Aaron G. “Dutta” Merritt is Vivian’s only surviving sibling.

Vivian retired as owner of Vivian’s Beauty Shop.

James Vaught is the son of the late Maurice O. and Lessie Phelps Vaught.

Jim was in the real estate business for 50 years and has been an active member of the honor guard for 15 years.

Jim and Vivian were united in marriage December 3, 1950, at Eubank Baptist Church by the late Rev. Hill.

No gifts, please, your presence will be their joy.
