Golden Wedding Anniversary

Somerset — The family of Russell and Betty Hargis would like to announce the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Russell Hargis and the former Betty Mounce were united in marriage June 16, 1961, at her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mounce.

Bro. Fred Richardson officiated the ceremony.

Russell retired from the Pulaski County Road Department and Betty retired from Palm Beach Co.

The couple was bless-ed with two children: Sylvia and Jerry Whitaker and Tammy and Tracy Farmer.

They also have three grandchildren: Jessica and Justin Whitaker and Trevor Farmer.

All family and friends are invited to join them at a reception in cele-bration of their Golden Wedding Anniversary Saturday, June 11, from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Old Sears School House on Meece Road, off Hwy. 192, Somerset.

Memories and your presence are the only gifts desired.
