Elwood Everett Hunt and Georgia Lou Jasper-Hunt were married May 20, 1961, at the groom’s home in the Ruth community with the Rev. Ed Ping officiating.
From this marriage two sons were born: Marty (and Karen) Hunt and Troy Hunt.
The couple has also been blessed with seven grandchildren: Ashley, Amanda, Andrew, Autumn, Chandler, Haylee and Austin Hunt.
The couple will celebrate their anniversary in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., this weekend.
Come out and celebrate with the couple at East Somerset Baptist Church June 5, 2011, from 2 until 4 p.m.
